Clairton Library is a Family Place Library. The mission of the Clairton Public Library is to serve as a Center to provide informational resources, programs, education resources, and enjoyment for everyone of the community.

The vision of the Clairton Public Library will work to enhance its status as one of the better public libraries in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

This project is made possible in part by Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) funds from the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services and through Library Access Funds administered by the Office of Commonwealth Libraries, Department of Education, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Tom Wolf, Governor.

This September, all libraries across Allegheny County are inviting residents to participate in a special fundraising collaboration to show support for their local library.

Now in its third year, “Love Your Library,” a countywide initiative developed by the Allegheny County Library Association and Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, provides a way for residents to show their love to their local library.

Your neighborhood library will receive a pro-rated portion of a $150,000 match pool from the Jack Buncher Foundation - up to $500 per donor per library. So, please donate today and share the love!
